Well here we are as I sit in motor vehicles inspection center scrolling down my FB timeline another picture sparks my thoughts. I was just on the phone with my little sister talking about "behaviors". You know the actions that truly show your growth. We all have different beliefs in all areas of our lives whether we follow tradition or just set in our own ways, but the question strikes up "Are your beliefs making you a better person?" Are you growing? I mean in my beliefs I could be a wreck, going down hill making bad decisions because of my beliefs. My behaviors are the effects of my beliefs. So I ask you? What behaviors do your beliefs display about you? Remember someone is always watching, and what they see is first hand what they instantly know about you, until they can actually talk with you. I want my behaviors to be aligned with my beliefs.

Technology and a Lost Connection
Saw this picture (pictured below) and it sparked massive emotions and thoughts. I mean I actually started having a conversation with myself. A lot of remember when's started coming up. Like Remember when you memorized everyone of your close family and friends telephone numbers and even addresses. There was no "let me store it in my cell phone". You actually had to write it down. There used to be such a thing called a telephone and address book. I recently purchased one because of past cell phone experiences and losing important data. Then people say that's why there is a SIM card or iCloud for back up. Nope no thanks sorry when satellites are down I need info in front of me.
Remember when: a guy or a gal would pick up the telephone just to say hi, I love you or would you like to catch a movie and some dinner. Now we just text it. I'm sorry there is a different type of intimacy when it's spoken. Text messages can be interpreted in so many different ways. You don't hear a tone or pitch.
Remember: board games, when you actually had to talk to your opponent and it actually made the game more fun and competitive at the same time. You were engaging in goodtimes, laughter, snacks, and depending on the game you were playing it sparked up conversation.
All I'm saying is while technology is great it has it's perks, but Don't let it steal away the moments that make life worth living. Enjoy those around you, learn something new about your husband, wife, children, friends, family etc. step away from the technology just for a moment retreat with your loved ones and it doesn't mean an expensive vacation. It could be at your own dinner table. Have some good old fashion "table talk" tell a joke or two. Share your day, your thoughts or your feelings with each other for a moment not with social media. Create memories for your family, friends and generations to come. Possibly pick up an old tradition or start a new one. What I'm saying is just LIVE a little with one another.
As I am writing this I am talking to myself as well. None of us are perfect, we all have adopted busy schedules and lives. But let us not forget the importance of solid communication with one another. It can make a world of difference.
Peace and Love 😘
