DO YOU REMEMBER THE TIME-Reflection of my times with the Great MJ

It took me sometime to get to this but I have been contemplating what to write. I wanted to take my time on remembering a GREAT...I recently had a conversation with someone... We realized that the world was mourning Michael's death because we associate the greatest and most fun times of our lives through his music. SO TRUE... I recall in my younger years "Beat It" how I used to prance around the house kicking that leg in the air not knowing the words just mumbling, getting in trouble and couldn't understand why... and my dad saying somebody teach that girl the words..."BEAT IT BEAT IT BEAT IT BEAT IT ShOw EM NOW F**K it"(my version) is what I was saying then learning "Show them how funky Strong is your fight". LOL... but that song meant something... how strong is your fight.. take the lyrics and its like wow, yea I can beat it... take whatever in life your going through and BEAT IT... Its more or less saying STAND UP for what's right whether its wrong or right, but fight for the cause... Michael was a deep brother listen to every song and every word and you can't help but to get some type of inspiration. even if its just a song to tell us... Live life, enjoy it while you can....I can't help to remember "Off The Wall" one of my favorites... And Oh lets not forget "ROCK WITH YOU"-remember the video and the outfit...Black and Silver Glitter... Michael was and still is the MAN... Let's not forget his amazing dance moves and his agility to move across the stage in rhythm even in his 40's... Shall I say age is only a number... What about the video production... "BAD" his videos told a story and were mini films... REMEMBER THE TIME, another one of my favorites...This list can go on and on... I mean if you think about it..everything this man touched was gold.... truly a talented brother.... every word, every song, every album....Michael touched the people of the world... TRULY AN INSPIRATION TO ALL ARTIST, THANK YOU MJ... FOR ALL YOU'VE DONE AND THE PATHWAYS YOU SET FOR THOSE LIKE ME TO COME BEHIND YOU....

MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS THE FAMILY, FRIENDS, FANS AND LIVES THAT MICHAEL HAS TOUCHED... MAY HE REST IN PEACE AND HIS MEMORY SHALL LIVE ON FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS AND THROUGH HIS MUSIC...

Been A Long Time

YES People I know its been a long time since I've been blogging... well slowly but surely I am making progress... Didn't lose focus but things beyond my control have set this project behind... BUT A SET BACK IS A SET UP FOR SUCCESS.... Success is so close I can smell it...

Hopefully I will be back in the studio in no time... to complete these last couple of songs... then on to mixing and mastering... then you my fellow supporters can get a taste of AGONY PASSION TRIUMPH.....

Hello there my fellow bloggers, well progress is being made but very slow... I'm at a stand still and have no idea or clue why. I'm having constant writers block...UGH!!! not fun at all... but I say this just to say please bare with me... AGONY PASSION TRIUMPH is still on its way with surprises and special guest.... WOW!!! I'm actually excited just thinking about it...I'm getting chill bumps just thinking about it......

Well just wanted to say hi and tell you guys to keep checking me out... I'm headed back to the lab in a few to re-record somethings correct the errors and work on an interlude...

Hey people, thanks for keeping up with me... this week, I recorded a song called "I DESERVE" basically speaks for any woman who wants a man in her life who will accept her for every flaw. This song is dear to me and one of my top 5 picks from the album... Yes, I wrote the songs and I have top 5 picks, each song on this album tells a story. "I DESERVE" is my favorite because its what we all dream of when finding that perfect mate, if there is such a thing as a perfect mate "I want someone whose gonna love me with all of my faults, someone whose gonna be as carefree when it comes to love, someone who knows what its like when we argue, fuss, and fight, talk it out and we know everything will be alright" Just a couple of lyrics from the song so that you can get an understanding... well I hope that gave you a little insight as to what is going on in this process....

There is still more work to do on this album, not as easy as I thought it would be... is it safe to say that I am actually tired of writing as much as I like to do it... lol... Well I have a couple of more songs to write and record... This is really hard work... Its not easy and whoever said it was boy did they lie...

Hey there friends... been a while since I've been blogging but I am back... Listen I am still working on the finishing touches for the album. I'm really excited, I can't wait until the product is finished... Well, I just recorded and interlude (very sexy if I must say)hmmmm. Also another song entitled Take Me Away, me wanting to get out of a relationship gone bad although I can't seem to imagine my life w/o this particular man... but in the end its best if we both go our separate ways... Hey world new song... "LOSER (YOU BROKE THE RULES)" just posted on myspace, I hope you like it... the song says a lot, it tells how men can miss a good thing once it's gone... Or even realize that the grass is not greener on the other side... so I call him loser but really its all about how he loses, you can't have me back and I don't want you back, you lost in this game buddy...Sorry for you...This is probably one of my favorite songs on the album, I hope they all become your favorite...

ALMOST FINISHED!!!

I AM ALMOST FINISHED...WHAT A FEELING... This album is going to be something else... I have never been so proud of myself as an artist and a writer. I feel accomplished at this point in my life and I am only growing. AGONY PASSION TRIUMPH, this is just the beginning... I am truly blessed....I completed the INTRO (AGONY PASSION TRIUMPH) for the album as well as another song entitled LOSER(YOU BROKE THE RULES)...And basically what this song is about a guy who wants to get back with his girl and she's not having it...She gave him exactly what he wanted which was to be out of the relationship and she decides to go on with life as if he was "just a faded memory in her mind"...

YET ANOTHER WEEK I AM STILL SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS PROJECT!!!

FINALLY A CHANCE TO DO WHAT I FEEL SHOULD BE DONE, MY OWN IDEAS, THOUGHTS, AND FEELINGS...

Today I realized that things happen in your life for a reason...People come in and out of your life for reasons we may never know... So many things are happening in my life good, bad, up, down, sideways and turning all around... But today I realized no matter what. I have to stay focused on the bigger picture. ME and AGONY PASSION AND TRIUMPH... Nothing can stop this and I am not letting it... Forces tried to stop that and I still made it thru.

Well now thats off my chest and the air is cleared.. I was at it again in the studio...album almost done... And it all ME. ... I still can't believe it... It's like its so unreal, my full length album is coming to life... Please note, that every song you hear is apart of everyday life... some songs you will cry, laugh, smile, and sit and ponder to yourself...Hmmmm thats deep...

Folks get ready because, MY AGONY, MY PASSION, and MY TRIUMPH is coming soon.....

This song was written about a young lady who found herself slowly changing who she was just to be with someone who said they wanted a monogamous relationship. Her family and her friends began to see the changes in her as well as she did herself. She realized she was losing her mind for love. Losing her mind just to love a man, who said he loved her. He loved her but not enough to know that she was worth more than how he treated her.

This album definitely says it all... Every song thus far has moved me as I wrote it and as I made it come to life in the recording booth.. I'm so Excited

I am so excited, I actually feel a sense of accomplishment. I feel like YES!!!! this is finally happening the way I want it to. Nothing can stop me now. I am on a natural high, I am on an all time record for myself. Is this is what its like when you do what you want for your music career? Thats what I asked myself today after recording two more songs for the album. "You" is complete and I am very pleased with the outcome. I can't wait to share this with you all. I hope you are all as excited as I am. So spread the word I am on my way, summer 2009 be prepared for AGONY PASSION AND TRIUMPH....

"You"-The title of a song written by yours truly... Just another preview of what is coming... I had to blog about it, because I feel like every person at some point in their life has had the 1 person that has changed it completely. But change in a positive way, a way that you don't ever want to lose that person because they have such an affect on you. "Just the thought of you taking your love away from me. My heart begins to crumble and fall and tear into pieces." ( a line from the song) I Need you the supporters of me, to see how deep and serious I am getting with this new project. I get very personal about past loves, nay sayers (the ones who said I couldn't do this) and a new love that I have found(thats the Triumph in my life)....

It Starts!!!

Hey everybody, well the process has begun.... I started writing, listening to some tracks oh and wait recording for the new full length album. I put a lot of thought into this and exactly where it is that I want to go with it.... Title of the album has been decided on but I want to wait it out before I release it... I want you all to thirst for this one.... I have been off the scene for a minute which is a good thing... I hope you all miss me... I miss you guys... Thank you so much for those who continue to support in this journey. Its not easy, lots of decisions have to be made and lots of decisions have been made. Stick with me ... I will not let you down...
