A woman is running away from a jealous and abusive relationship. Her eyes were finally opened to see that this wasn't "LOVE" as her lover would put it. She has to get away and find a hideaway. She want nothing to do with him once she's gone. There is no turning back for her. Their relationship is over. She broke the chains of "LOVE" that he had on her.

This song was written about a young lady who found herself slowly changing who she was just to be with someone who said they wanted a monogamous relationship. Her family and her friends began to see the changes in her as well as she did herself. She realized she was losing her mind for love. Losing her mind just to love a man, who said he loved her. He loved her but not enough to know that she was worth more than how he treated her.
